Restoring The Village is to educate motivate, and promote community engagement.

September: Restoring The Village “Family Heritage Day”.
Holiday Gala – A Short Term Intervention
Children who have lost a parent or sibling to street or domestic violence give us their dream gift list. We put them on our website and people in the community sponsor the gifts and personally present them to the children at the gala. The gala is a formal affair and the children will be picked up by a stretch limo.
It truly becomes a night to remember
Many of the sponsors become mentors and follow the children.
Project I.A.M. – A Long Term Intervention
A non academic, yet academic supporting curriculum one hour twice a week with a retired certified teacher. Children will learn valuable truths that will develop and strengthen self -confidence, resilience and academic scholarship. It becomes a refuge and a place of self expression for our children. Project I.A.M. will use measurable outcomes to prove its effectiveness.
Our goal is to implement this program in every school nationwide.
